Ocotillo ear threaders
Ocotillo seed pods cast in sterling silver. These seed pods are cast from the real thing, so each one will be unique. They hang from dainty sterling silver chais that are meant to be “threaded” through the ear piercing. Can be worn through a single piercing, or laced through multiple holes. For this design I use the smallest ocotillo pods available, this ensures it’s own weight wont cause them to slip. The pods are generally around half an inch long. The entire chain and pod is about 4 inches long, but this length is usually cut down to about 2 inches long when worn threaded through a piercing. These weigh about 1.5 grams each. I make these in small batches. Chain may be box or cable style based on availability. Chains are manufactured sterling silver.
