Pendulum Turquoise & Saguaro Earrings
Long, pendulum style hooks for maximum elegance and swing. Stunning, perfectly paired, Autumn Creek Turquoise stones dangle below. A 14 karat gold ball “sun” accents the backs along with a completely hand engraved saguaro motif. Hooks are 18 gauge sterling silver wire. Total length is 58mm, stone dimensions are 30mmx12mm. Each weigh 5.5 grams.
I personally cut these cabochons, which are Autumn Creek Turquoise from Kingman, Arizona. Autumn Creek is out of the famous #8 mine, but a green die and stabilizer has been added to give it a fantastic tie die color gradient and make it a much stronger stone. I designed and fabricated the settings using sterling silver, fine silver, and 14 karat gold. I then did all of the engraving on the backs by hand. Marked “925” for sterling and signed, “EKW”. These marks are hand engraved and not stamped to ensure they are not mistaken for anything other than handmade.
